- En 1972, Volkswagen présente la dernière version de la Coccinelle, baptisée 1303 S. Elle apporte un nombre important d'évolutions et fait rentrer la Beetle dans l'ère moderne. On notera les suspensions avant indépendantes, le pare-brise bombé ou encore une amélioration du 4-cylindres qui passe désormais à 1,6 l pour 50 ch.~
- Notre Coccinelle cabriolet fut vendue neuve à Paris en 1973, il s'agit d'une version LS haut de gamme qui a néanmoins bénéficié d'une attention toute particulière. En effet dès sa livraison son propriétaire envoie la voiture chez Pavesi, le célèbre carrossier milanais, afin de personnaliser son habitacle. ~
- Ainsi elle reçoit une sellerie en cuir avec des sièges Recaro à l'avant, de superbes boiseries qui recouvrent le tableau de bord, les contreportes, le pommeau de vitesse ou encore le volant Momo Alpina. Enfin des vitres électriques et d'épaisses moquettes en laine sont installées. ~
- Cette auto a suivi son propriétaire et a transité par la Suisse avant de revenir en France en 2022, elle a toujours bénéficié d'un entretien rigoureux. Son essai routier nous a d'ailleurs démontré un très bon état de fonctionnement. ~
- En 1984, sa carrosserie a été repeinte dans sa teinte d'origine et la capote a été remplacée. Elle se présente aujourd'hui en très bel état de conservation. Cet exemplaire à la configuration exclusive, à l'historique limpide et au faible kilométrage constitue une superbe opportunité à ne pas rater ! ~

- In 1972, Volkswagen unveiled the latest version of the Beetle, called the 1303 S. It featured a number of significant developments and brought the Beetle into the modern era. Noteworthy features included independent front suspension, a curved windscreen and an improved 4-cylinder engine, now with a capacity of 1.6 litres and 50 bhp~
- Our Beetle convertible was sold new in Paris in 1973. It is a high-end LS version that has nevertheless received special attention. As soon as it was delivered, its owner sent the car to Pavesi, the famous Milanese coachbuilder, to customise its interior. ~
- It was fitted with leather upholstery with Recaro seats in the front, superb wood panelling covering the dashboard, door panels, gear knob and Momo Alpina steering wheel. Finally, electric windows and thick wool carpets were installed. ~
- This car followed its owner and passed through Switzerland before returning to France in 2022, and it has always been rigorously maintained. Our test drive showed us that it is in very good working order. ~
- In 1984, its bodywork was repainted in its original colour and the soft top was replaced. It is now in very good condition. This model, with its exclusive configuration, clear history and low mileage, is a superb opportunity not to be missed!~
