A beautiful reconstruction of a Delahaye 135 Le Mans, built over 50 years ago based on an authentic 135 MS.~

- La Delahaye 135 fait assurément partie du meilleur de la production française des années 1930, au même titre que la Bugatti Type 57. Juste avant la Deuxième Guerre mondiale, pour briller ailleurs qu'en concours d'élégance, la firme parisienne construisit 16 exemplaires destinés à la compétition.~
- Ces 16 Delahaye 135 Spécial répondaient au nouveau règlement de l'ACF pour les épreuves "de Sport", dont les 24 Heures du Mans, où elles brillèrent, jusqu'à remporter la mythique épreuve mancelle en 1938. Elles s'illustrèrent également en Grand Prix comme en rallye, notamment au Monte-Carlo ou aux Mille Miglia┤~
- La 135 S Compétition se différenciait des versions tourisme notamment par son châssis court (2,70 m d'empattement) et son moteur, une version MS particulièrement poussé. On notait aussi des voies étroites, une « grosse » boîte de vitesses électromagnétique Cotal et un pont long.~
- Doris Blasquez, orfèvre de la tôlerie installé à Perpignan, connu et reconnu pour avoir redonné vie aux plus belles carrosseries françaises, construisit cette auto, conforme au plan, avec ses très belles ailes, sur la base d'une authentique Delahaye 135 MS de 1948, châssis #800870, au milieu des années 1970.~
- Châssis mis aux cotes compétition, moteur 135 MS, boîte Cotal, pont étroit, et incroyable patine de 50 ans, cette très belle reconstruction de Delahaye type Le Mans ravira son prochain propriétaire, qui pourra prétendre à son volant prendre le départ des plus beaux rallyes et courses historiques du calendrier.~

- The Delahaye 135 is undoubtedly one of the finest French cars produced in the 1930s, alongside the Bugatti Type 57. Just before the Second World War, in order to shine outside of concours d'elegance events, the Parisian firm built 16 models designed for competition.~
- These 16 Delahaye 135 Specials complied with the new ACF regulations for 'Sport' events, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where they excelled, winning the legendary Le Mans race in 1938. They also distinguished themselves in Grand Prix and rally events, notably at Monte Carlo and the Mille Miglia.~
- The 135 S Competition differed from the touring versions in particular in its short chassis (2.70 m wheelbase) and its engine, a particularly powerful MS version. It also featured narrow tracks, a 'large' Cotal electromagnetic gearbox and a long axle.~
- Doris Blasquez, a master panel beater based in Perpignan, known and recognised for bringing the most beautiful French car bodies back to life, built this car, in accordance with the plans, with its beautiful wings, based on an authentic 1948 Delahaye 135 MS, chassis #800870, in the mid-1970s.~
- With a competition-spec chassis, 135 MS engine, Cotal gearbox, narrow axle and incredible 50-year-old patina, this beautiful reconstruction of a Delahaye Le Mans will delight its next owner, who will be able to take the wheel and compete in the most prestigious historic rallies and races.~
